We can help you make it a smooth process

Step 1: Know the Customer, Know the Job!

The first step in the process is to understand the customer and the job we have been hire to do.
Information is initially gathered via phone and email, followed by a scheduled on-site meeting to discuss your preferences, priorities and other details of the job.

While on-site, we will perform a site survey of the location to inspect the building materials used in floors, walls and ceilings, gather floor plans and measurements, make note of staircases, elevators, firewall barriers, support columns or other obstructions, or potential environmental concerns which might restrict access.

It is the collection of these details that informs us regarding YOUR specific network needs.

Step 2: The Design > Review, Plan, Adjust ... Repeat as needed

It is the compilation of the details gathered thru conversations, document exchange and on-site inspections, when viewed as a whole, that provides insight to YOUR particular network needs and determine the specific installation requirements.

Our BICSI-certified RCDD® (Registered Communications Distribution Designer®) will review every aspect to address any environmental concerns in advance, establish effective work-arounds for any obstructions or access restrictions, and define efficient cabling paths.

Step 3: Confirm & Prepare

Once the design is on paper, it is confirmed with the customer and any questionable details are clarified at this point to avoid issues during the actual install.

At this point the installation technicians review the plan and acquire any materials needed to do the job. If a phone system or other equipment is being installed, the technicians will updates the software, configure and test the equipment.

Step 4: Stick with the Plan! … but Know When to Revise

We pride ourselves on professional, clean and organized cabling installed to manufacturer and BISCI standards. Wherever possible, cable is run in the ceilings, floors and walls. Otherwise, cable raceways, trays or other forms of vertical and horizontal wire management is used to provide a neat and clean appearance. Cable wraps, mounting clips and drive rings are used to ensure a secure, effective hanging.

All installed cabling network will be tested for continuity and properly labeled at the closet end and at the drop location, including faceplates and patch panels.

Upon request, certification in accordance with Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards and plans reflecting the cable locations and pathways can be provided.
